ROLE OVERVIEW

Position Summary

The Base and Precious Metals Analyst will be based in our Singapore office as part of a team investing across strategies focusing on commodities

Role Overview

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Research Analyst working alongside a Commodities Portfolio Manager based in Singapore
• Communicating with industry and sell-side contacts
• Building and maintaining detailed models from scratch across commodity verticals
• Generating commodity investment ideas by conducting deep fundamental research in the base and precious metals markets

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience building and updating Supply and Demand balances for base metals
• Minimum 1 year of experience covering Precious Metals
• Coding ability in python for data processing and analysis strongly preferred
• Specific knowledge of select base metals markets preferred
• Statistics / economics background preferred
• Position to be based in Singapore
• Analyst role will be part of a broader team that trades across the full metals universe
