About the role:
Care Corner Learning and Special Needs Support (formerly Educational Therapy Service) is looking to expand our focus from just educational therapy to providing wholistic support for children with learning and special needs. We
are seeking a Specialist with a passion to support children with learning and special needs. This individual would ideally have experience teaching children individually or in small group sizes, open to working from different
locations and keen to teach children in our own Intervention Programme.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• •Plan and teach English and Math to children (age 5 to 12) with learning difficulties/disabilities

• Plan and conduct individual and group intervention programmes/activities for children with special needs

• Assess the developmental needs of children, doing up each child’s Individual Educational Programme (IEP) and

• Progress Report (PR) to address the needs of the children in the assigned classes.

• Engage parents in executing intervention and development strategies for the children.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education, Learning Disorders

• Management or any other related fields

• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) will be preferred.

• Experience in specialised intervention methods with children will be an added advantage (e.g. OG, Jolly Phonics visual processing training, rhythmic movement training)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Role levels: hiring requirement for minimum experience to Senior Specialist level

Location: required to work from different centres and multiple location requirements for Woodlands/Toa Payoh/Tampines
