Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and external contractors, ensuring effective execution of engineering tasks.
• Plan shift schedules, conduct briefings and ensure proper handover between shifts.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and routine inspections of M&E systems and common areas.
• Assign, track and monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion of defects and service requests.
• Respond promptly to M&E emergencies, troubleshoot issues and escalate incidents to management when required.
• Ensure compliance to building codes, fire safety regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reliability and support implementation of energy-saving initiatives and best practices.
• Manage and maintain inventory of engineering equipment, tools and spare parts.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management or equivalent, with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing and able to work shifts.
