Java Technical Lead

• Spearhead investigation and resolution of critical production and pre-production defects, particularly those blocking releases or impacting client onboarding timelines.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of developers (permanent + vendor) focused on stabilization, bug fixing, integration troubleshooting, and regression resolution.
• Coach the team in diagnostics techniques, debugging complex flows across microservices, queues (MQ/Kafka), and databases.
  

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THEPOSITION

• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical lead or RTB/release engineer role
• Prior work on client onboarding platforms, CRM systems, or workflow engines

Technical

Must Have:

• Deep technical proficiency in:
• Java 8+, Spring Boot, JPA, REST APIs, EJB, JSF
• Relational Databases (Oracle, MySQL) — query tuning, locking issues, schema evolution
• Messaging systems (IBM MQ, Kafka) — message flow tracing, poison message handling

Tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, SonarQube, Splunk/ELK, Dynatrace/AppDynamics


Desirable:

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) or containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), or frontend technologies (e.g. React) is an advantage
