Medical Technologist (Pulmonary) - Perm night shift

1. Major Duties and Responsibilities

Specific (85%)

• Perform routine pulmonary function tests, polysomnography test and CPAP counseling.
• Explain procedures to patients and get their cooperation.
• Evaluate test reliability, patients’ performance and clinical implications.
• Maintain equipment to ensure accurate testing and diagnosis.
• Troubleshoot errors when variances occur.
• Generate and despatch accurate reports.
• Ensure workplace neat and tidy at all times.
• Schedule test appointments
• Practice good inventory management (replenish when necessary).
• Keep record of reports
• Uphold patient rights and safety.

General (15%)

• Perform other related duties (e.g. electroencephalogram - EEG) as may be requested.
• Be actively involved in hospital’s projects and functions and participate in community outreach programs.
• Helps promote safety in the laboratory.

Requirements

• Polytechnic / Degree graduates with sciences
• Perm night shift
• CPR + AED
