Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Implementation Science Researcher with expertise in rehabilitation services to lead and support research aimed at bridging the gap between evidence-based practices and real-world clinical application. This role focuses on improving the adoption, integration, and sustainability of rehabilitation interventions across healthcare systems. This position plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes by ensuring that effective rehabilitation interventions are successfully implemented and sustained in real-world settings, ultimately enhancing quality of care and health system performance.
Responsibilities:
• Design, conduct, and evaluate implementation research projects within rehabilitation settings (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology).
• Develop and apply implementation frameworks, models, and strategies to enhance uptake of evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare administrators, policymakers, and patients to co-design and implement interventions.
• Conduct mixed-methods research, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability in diverse healthcare contexts.
• Identify barriers and facilitators to implementation and develop strategies to address them.
• Prepare grant proposals, research reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Translate research findings into practical recommendations, guidelines, and policy briefs.
• Support capacity building and training initiatives for healthcare professionals in implementation science.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Implementation Science, Rehabilitation Science, Public Health, Health Services Research, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in implementation science research, preferably in rehabilitation or allied health.
• Experience working in clinical or healthcare delivery settings.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications and/or funded research.
• Experience with implementation frameworks (e.g., CFIR, RE-AIM, PARIHS) is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with diverse populations and health systems.
• Knowledge of digital health or tele-rehabilitation implementation.
• Experience in policy engagement or health system transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with data science or health informatics tools.
