AI & Product Innovation Lead

Job Description

What will you do:
Drive a culture of product mindset and measurable impact at NCS, championing innovation and design thinking to shape, deliver, and celebrate value for our clients and communities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Champion and embed a “Product Mindset” across NCS NEXT, defining, measuring, and celebrating impact through innovation. 

• Operate within the Digital Experience team, collaborating closely with Digital Engineering to deliver and demonstrate value. 

• Lead and facilitate applied design thinking initiatives, working with NEXT Practice Leads and key clients to co-create solutions. 

• Drive intelligentisation and AI-led pursuits, including strategic collaborations and Gen AI projects. 

• Identify and deliver “lighthouse” projects that showcase tangible value and innovation. 

• Develop and propagate frameworks for assessing the value of applied innovation in a Technology Services context. 

• Partner with Enterprise SBG to unlock and shape new growth opportunities. 

• Bring fresh energy and external perspective to the design thinking and product leadership space. 

• Mentor and build capacity in design thinking, change management, agile, and product management across Team NCS. 

• Leverage certified Scrum Master expertise to enable agile ways of working. 

What Success Looks Like 

• Three “lighthouse” projects delivered, demonstrating clear value and impact. 

• A practical, adopted framework for assessing innovation value is in use across NCS. 

• NEXT Practice Leads and client teams are enabled to precision-target opportunities and accelerate the POC > MVP > Productisation journey. 

• NCS is recognised internally and externally for its product mindset and innovation impact.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate 

• Proven experience in design thinking, product management, and agile delivery (certified Scrum Master). 

• Track record of driving innovation and measurable impact, ideally with exposure to AI and Gen AI. 

• Experience working outside NCS, bringing fresh perspectives (e.g., from SUTD or similar environments). 

• Strong collaborator, able to influence and energise cross-functional teams. 

• Passionate about mentoring others and building organisational capability.
