Job Description

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design and lead the implementation of end-to-end technology solutions that align with business goals and enterprise standards. This role acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with architectural governance across the organisation.

What you will do:

Architecture & Design

  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture and detailed design specifications

  • Define and document end-to-end solution architecture, including high-level components, interfaces, and data flows

  • Design across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers

  • Ensure solutions support scalability, security, performance, and maintainability

Technology Evaluation & Governance

  • Evaluate technology options and recommend optimal platforms, tools, and architectural approaches

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security frameworks, and governance policies

  • Apply cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements in solution design

Implementation Oversight & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery

  • Provide architectural guidance during development, integration, and deployment phases

  • Support troubleshooting and provide solution-level direction during project execution

  • Engage stakeholders to validate architecture decisions and manage trade-offs

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong architecture design skills across application, data, integration, and infrastructure domains
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including cloud-native services
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ability to use modelling and documentation tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Lucidchart, Draw.io, UML)
  • Strong understanding of both monolithic and distributed system architectures
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
