Senior Specialist (Inventory & Flow Management)

Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead the strategic transformation of our supply chain. This pivotal role involves overseeing the migration of our core Forecasting & Replenishment platforms and acting as the primary business leader collaborating with AI/ML engineers. The goal is to continuously refine and optimize our predictive capabilities, driving significant improvements in forecast accuracy within the Retail and FMCG sectors.

Job Requirements

●       Platform Migration:

o  Direct the strategic planning and execution of upcoming Forecasting & Replenishment platform migrations, ensuring seamless transition and data integrity.

o  Support in structuring and setting up Demand AI/ML with the new platform, considering inputs and customizations required for FPG.

●       AI/ML Integration:

o  Act as the subject matter expert bridging the gap between demand planning functions and AI/ML engineering teams to continuously improve forecasting models.

●       Operational Leadership:

o  Lead the core demand planning functions, managing processes related to demand shaping, inventory optimization, and consensus forecasting.

o  Create the workflow that bridges communications and collaboration between stakeholders, including and not limited to Buyers, Planners, Logistics and Operations.

●       Optimization:

o  Identify and implement enhancements to FPG's forecasting methodologies, leveraging Machine Learning and Agentic AI to boost predictive performance.

●       Category Management and Strategy:

o  Participate in category reviews to identify opportunities and provide insights to improve productivity and Days on Hand (DOH).

o  Respond to store inquiries, including special requests and delivery issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
