SAP Finance Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Lead to guide and manage a team of Finance consultants within the Application Management Services (AMS) organisation. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting solutions, ensure high‑quality application support, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems. You will serve as the subject matter expert, enabling business stakeholders to leverage SAP capabilities for operational excellence and better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP Finance consultants within the AMS environment
• Provide functional application support across SAP S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate needs, and define solution approaches
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for processes, functional specifications, and enhancements
• Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve financial processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and ensure end-to-end process alignment
• Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and system optimisation within the Finance landscape
• Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Reporting solutions

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
• Experience delivering functional support in an AMS or similar operational environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Certified in SAP S/4HANA Finance or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)
• Experience integrating SAP with third‑party applications
• Exposure to change management or transformation initiatives
