Job Summary
Join Agoda’s IT Infrastructure team to build and manage large-scale infrastructure platforms, supporting over 25,000 servers and advanced cloud technologies. Drive innovation and operational excellence in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage infrastructure implementation projects end to end, collaborating across multiple teams and departments to deliver successful outcomes
- Manage incidents and perform daily operational tasks in production and development environments, including outside business hours when necessary
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot complex system issues across the organization to ensure optimal infrastructure performance
- Coordinate datacenter operations with remote staff, overseeing server provisioning, hardware replacements, and environmental controls such as power and temperature management
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to infrastructure team members and software developers to enhance team capabilities
- Design and develop automation toolsets for bare metal deployment, software installation, patching, monitoring, and remediation to improve operational efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenStack operations and APIs to support containerized and cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, preferably from a DevOps background, with GitLab experience considered an advantage
- Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible playbooks to develop infrastructure tools
- Expertise in Grafana dashboard development and query languages including PromQL, SQL, JQL, and Elasticsearch for monitoring and analytics
- Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve full stack issues by breaking down problems into testable hypotheses and developing diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of networking architecture within complex e-commerce environments to support infrastructure design and operations
- High ownership mindset with proactive problem identification and resolution
- Strong English communication skills, analytical thinking, adaptability, and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines
