- Monitor Production Systems — Oversee the health, stability, and performance of production applications using monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Incident Management — Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents promptly to minimize business impact, while documenting issues and resolutions.
- Root Cause Analysis — Investigate recurring problems, identify underlying causes, and implement long‑term corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Cross‑Team Collaboration — Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to diagnose and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Performance Optimization — Analyze system performance and apply tuning measures to enhance speed, reliability, and overall application efficiency.
- Deployment & Release Support — Support deployment activities for new releases, patches, and updates, ensuring smooth rollouts with minimal disruption to production services.
- Documentation Management — Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation covering support procedures, incident handling, and system configurations.
- User & Stakeholder Support — Provide timely assistance to end‑users and stakeholders, addressing queries and resolving application‑related issues.
- Continuous Improvement — Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the overall reliability of application support operations.
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in application support or development, with strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Unix, Java, AWS, Datadog, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
