Director of Industrial Development

Key Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for the overall development, operational coordination and industrial development of the Group’s mining, metallurgical and related industrial projects;
• Participate in preliminary studies and feasibility assessments for mining resources, beneficiation systems, pellet plant, HBI, metallurgical and related industrial projects;
• Oversee project construction, production operations and ramp-up management for mining and industrial projects;
• Coordinate project engineering, production, equipment, process and operational management matters;
• Drive project progress, operational efficiency improvement and cost optimization initiatives;
• Establish and optimize operational management systems for mining and industrial projects;
• Promote production standardization, operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives;
• Support the development and management enhancement of overseas project operation teams;
• Promote industrial chain collaboration among mining, metallurgy, energy and related sectors;
• Participate in the Group’s industrial planning and strategic development initiatives;
• Coordinate upstream and downstream industrial resources and partnership development;
• Liaise with government authorities, business partners, contractors and relevant industry stakeholders;
• Coordinate project approvals, industrial cooperation and operational related matters;
• Support major industrial cooperation initiatives and strategic projects of the Group;
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines preferred;
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mining, metallurgy, steel, energy or industrial projects;
• Experience in large-scale mining, pellet plant, metallurgical or industrial project construction and operations management;
• Familiar with mining beneficiation systems, metallurgy, pellet plant and industrial project operations management;
• Strong project coordination, productionoperations and site management capabilities;
• Possess integrated industrial chain and operational management mindset;
• Strong leadership, organizational and team management skills;
• Good business communication and cross-functional coordination capabilities;
• Overseas or Southeast Asia project experience will be an added advantage;
• Good command of English and Chinese (to communicate effectively with our Chinese stakeholders and clients), with the ability to adapt to international business communication and regional travel arrangements;
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong adaptability and pressure-handling capabilities.
