CT/Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Use lab-based nano- and micro-focus CT techniques
• Collect and process X-ray data for use by other engineers
• Operate CT and 2D X-ray machines
• Focus heavily on CT data collection and processing
• Perform equipment/tool preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Position may require evening and weekend work

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field; or equivalent education preferred

Skills and Experience:

• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and curiosity
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Hands-on approach to problem solving
• Ability to manage shifting priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain interdepartmental relationships
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with failure analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, GCMS, etc. is a plus
