Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced UAT Test Manager with strong hands-on expertise in banking domain projects. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale end-to-end User Acceptance Testing, orchestrate stakeholder alignment, and ensure smooth delivery across complex technology and business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive UAT strategies, test plans, and test schedules for large-scale and multi-workstream projects to ensure thorough coverage and timely execution
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define test scope, acceptance criteria, and entry/exit conditions that align with project objectives
• Ensure environment readiness, data preparation, and proper provisioning of test users to facilitate effective testing cycles
• Lead and manage day-to-day UAT execution across multiple teams and business functions, driving progress and resolving issues proactively
• Oversee creation and review of test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices to maintain test quality and compliance
• Facilitate defect triage discussions, drive timely resolution of defects, and ensure retesting and closure to maintain test integrity
• Act as the primary liaison between business users, delivery managers, and developers for all UAT-related activities, ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Conduct UAT kick-off meetings, progress checkpoints, and sign-off sessions to maintain stakeholder engagement and project momentum
• Identify potential testing risks and implement mitigation plans proactively to minimize impact on delivery timelines
• Escalate critical issues promptly with clear impact assessments and recommended solutions to senior stakeholders
• Ensure all UAT deliverables meet compliance, audit, and governance expectations within the banking domain
• Track and report UAT progress, defect metrics, and status dashboards to senior stakeholders to provide transparency and informed decision-making
• Document test results, sign-off packages, lessons learned, and closure reports to support continuous improvement and audit readiness
• Maintain high-quality documentation aligned with banking standards and regulatory expectations to ensure traceability and accountability

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale or multi-system integration projects in the banking/financial services domain
• Hands-on expertise in UAT planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off processes
• Strong understanding of core banking systems
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools

• Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies to adapt testing approaches accordingly
• Experience managing user testing challenges such as low user participation, test environment instability, test data gaps, or high-severity defects
