Job Description

The Safety Supervisor supports the Senior Safety Coordinator in performing site safety inspections and ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices and statutory regulatory regulations. This role involves overseeing the implementation of safety protocols, conducting site inspections, monitoring safety compliance, and assisting in developing corrective actions for any identified hazards. The Safety Supervisor works closely with workers and management to ensure a safe working environment and minimizes the risks of workplace accidents or incidents.

Job Responsibilities

·         To manage, control and monitor of daily project works, instructions and progress.

·         Ensure safe work environment on site

·         Track the progress and quality of work being performed by operations.

·         Work closely with consultant, sub-contractor

·         Supervision of construction works and handle coordination works at sites and to ensure targeted completion dates are met

·         Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors on the project related matters

·         Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications

·         Create and maintain detailed project documentation

·         Monitoring resources on site and ensuring that sufficiency, availability and performance are aligned with the schedule.

·         Any other tasks or duties assigned by the Company

Job Requirements

·         Min. 3 years of related working experience

·         Diploma in any field or equivalent

·         Good knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act and statutory regulatory requirement

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees, management and regulatory agencies

·         Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate safety risks

·         Able to work independently and as a part of a team

·         Strong commitment to safety
