Learning Kidz was first established in May 2002 with a mission to develop each child to their full potential by providing equal opportunities and quality care in a safe, conducive and caring environment. At Learning Kidz, we cultivate and promote Kindness and Integrity in everything we do. We are fully committed to nurturing our children and preparing them for the challenges of formal education. Currently, we operate 6 childcare centres and 2 enrichment branches across Singapore with a drive to bring smiles across our little ones' faces every day. We have 2 infant care services at Ang Mo Kio (MRT) and Tampines (MRT). We are also under POP and Spark.

Job Summary

You will provide a safe and secure environment for children while delivering high-quality teaching and care. You will manage classroom activities, maintain records of children’s development, and build positive relationships with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a safe and secure environment where children feel comfortable and supported
  • Deliver teaching and care activities to ensure high-quality learning and development for each child in your class
  • Communicate professionally and collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school to support children’s progress
  • Assist in classroom management to maintain an organized and effective learning environment
  • Observe children’s holistic development using various methods and maintain accurate records of achievements and individual portfolios/reports
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to support their child’s learning and well-being
  • Work effectively as part of a team with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate passion and commitment to nurturing children’s growth and development

Required competencies and certifications

  • Possess at least one of the following Early Childhood certifications: Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood or HCIC (course still undergoing)
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Ability to commence work soon is preferred
