직무 설명

As the Metro RDA PDE Senior Manager (Advanced Packaging & NPI), you will provide strategic, technical, and people leadership for the Metro Process & Equipment (PDE) RDA organization, driving robust process control, equipment capability, and manufacturing readiness across advanced packaging and New Product Introduction (NPI) environments.

You will be accountable for defining RDA PDE strategy, building high-performing teams, and ensuring effective integration of process engineering, equipment engineering, and RDA capabilities to enable fast learning cycles, risk reduction, and scalable transition from NPI to high‑volume manufacturing (HVM).

This role partners closely with Site and Global RDA, Advanced Packaging, NPI, Quality, Equipment, Automation, and Manufacturing leadership to ensure RDA PDE solutions are technically sound, operationally effective, and aligned to business priorities.

Define and Drive Metro RDA PDE Strategy for Advanced Packaging and NPI

  • Own and define the Metro RDA PDE technical strategy supporting advanced packaging and NPI manufacturing

  • Establish clear priorities for process and equipment monitoring, diagnostics, and automation aligned to NPI and ramp needs

  • Ensure RDA PDE capabilities effectively address process sensitivity, equipment variability, and integration complexity

  • Drive alignment between site execution and global RDA standards, roadmaps, and procedures

  • Balance short-term NPI execution needs with long-term scalability to HVM

Lead and Develop High-Performing RDA PDE Engineering Teams

  • Build, lead, and develop a strong team of Metro RDA Process & Equipment Engineers

  • Set clear expectations for technical rigor, ownership, and multi-functional collaboration

  • Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen process, equipment, and RDA domain expertise

  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and accountability

  • Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational growth

Enable Process and Equipment Readiness for NPI, Pilot, and Ramp

  • Partner with Advanced Packaging, NPI, Process, and Equipment leaders to ensure RDA PDE readiness for new products and technologies

  • Ensure critical process and equipment risks are identified early and addressed through effective monitoring and diagnostics

  • Provide leadership oversight for tool bring-up, qualification, and stabilization activities from an RDA Product Deelopment Engineering (PDE) perspective

  • Support NPI readiness reviews, risk assessments, and ramp decision checkpoints with data-backed insights

  • Drive consistency and discipline in excursion response and corrective action effectiveness

Drive Equipment and Process Performance Through RDA and Analytics

  • Oversee development and sustainment of RDA, SPC, and FDC strategies that improve tool stability and process robustness

  • Ensure meaningful metrics are defined, tracked, and used to drive improvement (e.g., excursion rate, stability, recovery effectiveness)

  • Identify systemic gaps in process or equipment capability and sponsor improvement initiatives

  • Enable reduction of MTTR, improved tool repeatability, and tighter process window control

  • Ensure high-quality documentation, traceability, and knowledge sharing across teams

Collaborate Across Organizations to Deliver Continuous Improvement

  • Act as a key interface between Metro RDA PDE and Site/Global stakeholders

  • Partner with Quality teams to ensure quality risks and CTQs are embedded in RDA PDE strategies

  • Collaborate with Automation and IT to ensure scalable, reliable RDA infrastructure and solutions

  • Drive standardization, best practice sharing, and lessons learned across sites and programs

  • Support audits, leadership reviews, and strategic planning with objective technical insights

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related discipline)

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong exposure to advanced packaging and NPI environments

  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams across process, equipment, or RDA/automation domains

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor process control, equipment behavior, and manufacturing variability

  • Demonstrated experience driving NPI readiness, pilot execution, and ramp to HVM

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into technical execution

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and decision-making capabilities

Performs hardware, software, semiconductor design or telecomm engineering assignments. This job mapping should be used only if the position cannot be mapped specifically to other design/development engineering jobs.
