Job Summary
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the identification, diagnosis, and resolution of basic process and equipment-related issues under guidance from senior engineers.
- Assist in coordinating and executing process, equipment, and material evaluations or optimization activities to improve performance and stability.
- Participate in new equipment qualification activities, including data collection, documentation, and analysis, to support new technology development and production ramp-up.
- Support continuous yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives by performing data analysis, experiments, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in validating and transferring newly qualified process baselines, including processes, tools, and materials, for new product introductions.
- Learn and support process control systems such as SPC, FDC, RMS, and APC to ensure stable manufacturing operations.
- Support material supplier evaluations and audits by assisting in data preparation, analysis, and reporting related to quality and cost performance.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and supporting compliance activities.
- Support the definition and review of process and equipment requirements, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and quality standards.
- Participate in cross-functional design and process review meetings to gain exposure to product manufacturing and processing methods.
- Compile, analyze, and summarize test and process data to help determine appropriate process limits and material specifications.
- Gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing environments ranging from pilot operations to full-scale production, with structured training and mentoring.
- Integrates Al-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing Al-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering is required
- Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate Al literacy to use Al-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
