Your key roles & responsibilities include: 

  • To follow the policy & direction of the department and to assist superiors in accomplishing the department’s overall duties and responsibilities
  • Provide cross-functional support between HO and overseas offices
  • To take the lead and provide proper guidance and support to Asia-Pacific offices in regional projects
  • To provide operational support to Asia-Pacific offices and to improve their operational efficiency & effectiveness
  • Devise and introduce strategies to prevent, eliminate & mitigate operational risks in Asia-Pacific offices by providing advices for streamlining of workflow and processes, system enhancement projects, new product and services
  • Review and analyze Asia-Pacific offices' operational workflow and identify potential bottlenecks and operational lapses to reduce operational errors
  • Provide on-site and/or ad-hoc training to enhance skills and knowledge of Asia-Pacific offices
  • To assist new colleague in getting him/her familiarized with the job at APCF-ROP     
  • To provide proactive advice to superiors to improve the department’s administrative tasks
  • To perform any other duties assigned by superiors

What you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 15 years of experience in the banking industry.
  • Proven leadership skills in optimizing regional operations, ensuring efficiency, and fostering strong communication between management and overseas offices
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to acquire consensus among stakeholders.
  • Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages will be advantageous as you are required to communicate, read and understand, as well as respond and present to management and Japan (Head Office). This includes system discussions, Q&A meetings, status update meetings, and writing reports to management, etc.
  • Experience engaging in global system implementation and enhancement projects for APAC countries.
  •  Skills of operations planning such as procedure creation, BCP planning and UAT planning.
