We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research project on “Novel High Performance Piezoelectric Thin Film Composite (TFC) Nanofiltration/Reverse Osmosis (NF/RO) Membrane for Industrial Separation and Purification Application”

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and fabrication of piezoelectric membrane with porous substrate and selective thin layer, create new membrane structures and materials

• Characterization and analysis of membrane properties using advanced analytical tools, e.g., SEM, TEM, XPS, AFM, etc. 

• Performance testing of membrane in various applications like desalination, reclamation, filtration etc.

• Project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of reports and publication in high-impact journals, compliance with safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in chemical/environmental/material engineering

• Relevant research experience in membrane fabrication and process, desalination and water reclamation, industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery

• Oral presentation skill, multitasking skill

• Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team

• Good interpersonal skills

• Good communication and writing skills

• Strong responsibility for research
