The Department of Cardiac Radiology provides the patients of NHCS with diagnostic radiological imaging services and invasive cardiology procedure imaging services. Diagnostic radiological imaging includes general radiography, mobile radiography and CT scans. The CT team provides specialised Cardiac Scans for diagnostic, pre-procedural and surgical planning.
As part of the invasive cardiac angiography team, you will assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) at the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Hybrid Operating Theatre.
As a radiographer in Cardiac Radiology, you might be required to perform afternoon shift work as well as be on-call for emergency cases on a rotational basis. You might also participate in patient feedback, as well as quality management initiatives and programmes.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognised institution
- Candidates with at least 2-3 years' in relevant experience will have an advantage
- Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided
- Documented proof of:
- (i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
- (ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.
