Project Manager (Data Center Migration)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support and manage Data Center migration initiatives within a banking environment. The role requires hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and tracking end-to-end migration activities from one data center to another, ensuring minimal operational disruption and adherence to change management processes.

The candidate will work closely with infrastructure, application, network, and operations teams to ensure that all migration activities are properly planned, approved, tracked, and executed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Data Center migration projects from planning through execution and post-migration validation.

• Work closely with internal teams (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Applications, and Operations) to plan migration from an existing data center to a new facility.

• Track all migration items, assets, and activities to ensure nothing is missed during the migration process.

• Manage and monitor Change Requests (CRs) related to migration activities.

• Ensure all changes follow the bank’s change management process and governance framework.

• Coordinate migration schedules, maintenance windows, and implementation plans.

• Maintain project documentation, migration runbooks, and tracking sheets.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential service impacts during migration activities.

• Facilitate project meetings, progress tracking, and status reporting to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working on Data Center migration projects.

• Hands-on experience in planning and executing migration from one data center to another.

• Strong understanding of Change Management processes (ITIL preferred).

• Experience tracking Change Requests, migration tasks, and system dependencies.

• Ability to track and manage detailed migration inventories and activities.

• Strong coordination skills working across multiple technical teams.

• Experience working in banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.

• Good documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
