Description
This is a sales leadershipposition where as a Market Head you are responsible for driving sales andmanaging the performance and growth of a team of RMs which includes motivating,coaching, supporting, developing the team. Job responsibilities includessetting strategic targets for the team, driving client activity and engagement,attracting and retaining talent, coaching and inspiring RMs to improveperformance while inculcating a strong risk culture, managing risk and managingstakeholders in the bank, including product partners and risk functions.

Relationships
Work closely with relevant Senior Management, Clients,Team Leaders, RMs and internal stakeholders e.g. PB EXCO, Group HR and relevantSubject Matter Experts (e.g. Product Specialists).

Tasks & Responsibility
§ Work with Head of Private Bank in formulatingand executing strategic and tactical planning to achieve Bank’s goal

§ Responsible for managing market’s teams andRelationship Managers.

§ Increase Assets Under Management (“AUM”) and NetNew Money (“NNM”) through new client acquisition and increasing share ofwallet. 

§ Driveefficiency by managing costs and raise productivity and revenues.

§ Building and deepening an active and broad bookof clients and prospects through a strong and diversified network of businessand client contacts.

§ Build and develop the team of relationshipmanagers

§ Leadand guide Team Leaders/RMs identify theirstrengths and weaknesses and improve their competency and professionalism (upholds and deliver best practisestandards and ethical conduct in the care and management of clientrelationships).

Work in partnership with the Bank’s businessunits to identify existing and business opportunities and support the RMsdeepening share of wallet.

Requirements
§ At least 10 years ina leadership position and more than 15 years in the financial services sector.Experience as a Marker Leader is a strong advantage. 

§ Possesses extensiveindustry knowledge. Wealth Management background preferred.

§ Japan market–focused role

§ Exhibits strongleadership and management skills.

§ Client-focused andstrong appreciation of the risks, controls and compliance equirements /developments in the Wealth Management industry  

§ Broad and deepunderstanding of financial markets and instruments.

§ Good verbal andwritten communications skills.

Proficiency in Japanese is mandatory.
