Algorithm Engineer

About the role:

As an Algorithm Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our innovation engine, contributing to the development and optimization of algorithms that drive the heart of our AI products. You'll work in a collaborative environment, surrounded by fellow enthusiasts who appreciate the art and science behind efficient algorithms.

You will:

• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for our cutting-edge computer vision algorithms to build the next generation of eKYC products (including document OCR, face recognition and liveness detection) for customer onboarding processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, business teams to understand requirements, identify issues for our technical roadmap, and integrate advanced algorithms into our technology stack.
• Collaborate closely with Platform team to build and optimize internal autoML pipeline
• Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement optimizations of cutting-edge algorithm techniques to enhance the efficiency and speed of our algorithms and products.
• Develop robust testing frameworks to validate the correctness and reliability of algorithms, ensuring they perform optimally in diverse scenarios.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning or a related field.
• At least 1.5 years of proven experience in designing and implementing complex algorithms for real-world applications in Computer Vision.
• Solid background in algorithms, data structure and object-oriented programming
• Strong coding skills, preferably in languages such as Python, C++
• Good background in machine learning and deep learning platforms
• Track record of successfully delivering high performance ML-driven products
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-growing company.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
