Business Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking / financial services domain knowledge and hands‑on experience using JIRA and Confluence. The role involves requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and supporting delivery across finance‑related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Business Analyst supporting banking and financial services projects
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Use JIRA for requirement tracking, user stories, backlog management, and defect tracking
• Use Confluence for documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and functional specifications
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business, operations, and IT stakeholders
• Act as a bridge between business users and technology teams
• Support UAT activities, including test case preparation, execution, and defect coordination
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements
• Support go‑live, hypercare, and post‑implementation activities

Must‑Have Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
• Hands‑on working experience with:JIRA (user stories, backlog, defect management)
• Confluence (requirement and functional documentation)

Strong experience in:

- Requirement gathering & analysis
- Functional documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
- Stakeholder management
- UAT coordination and support

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum and/or Waterfall environments
• Experience working on public sector / government projects is a plus
