Senior Associate/Assistant Manager, Project Management

About the Team:

Shared Game Services (SGS) provides core platform services to all games published by Garena. Services include but not limited to authentication, payment, and mobile SDK.  

We are a dedicated and passionate team of product managers and engineers committed to building a platform that is scalable and robust for high volume, while ensuring reliable and localized user experience for our users. We’re looking for a project manager to join us, to explore, execute, iterate, and deliver services for users around the world.

Job Description:

• Communicate and coordinate cross-department requirements by collaborating with multiple teams, balancing competing priorities and ensuring alignment on complex projects

• Optimize workflows and quality control by identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high standards across multiple development cycles and game versions

• Resolve development issues by addressing obstacles that arise during production, mediating between teams, and driving timely solutions for high-impact projects

• Track version progress and manage resources by monitoring multiple development stages, coordinating tasks across SGS and game teams, and supporting the delivery of major game updates and releases

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree or above in any field 

• Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time experience in game project management or production roles. 

• Familiar with project management skills and experienced with tools such as Jira, TAPD, and Lark Projects.

• Passion for the gaming industry with a strong commitment to deliver high-quality games

• Strong analytical skills with a high sense of responsibility and ownership

• Resilient under pressure with excellent communication and coordination abilities, capable of proactively resolving challenges.
