We are looking for a passionateFull-Stack Software Engineer to join our WOGAA product engineering team. Youwill work closely with Tech Lead, Product Managers, QA, DevOps and Data teamsto build, enhance and scale our digital analytics products used acrossWhole-of-Government.

This role is hands-on, with asignificant focus on frontend product development using React, while alsocontributing to backend (Node.js) services and AWS-based infrastructure. Youwill participate in technical planning, drive implementation excellence, andoccasionally lead feature development end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

●      Buildand enhance web dashboards and user interfaces using TypeScript + React.js.

●      Developbackend APIs, services and internal tools using TypeScript (Node.js).

●      Collaborateclosely with Tech Lead to execute plans and technical direction for theplatform.

●      Takeownership of features — design, build, test, deploy and maintain.

●      Participateactively in code reviews, system discussions and engineering best practices.

●      Ensureproduct performance, scalability and reliability at scale.

●      Contributeto AWS deployment workflows, CI/CD and infrastructure improvements.

●      Produceclear documentation for systems, features and operational procedures.

●      Occasionallylead and drive feature development independently.

Required Skills & Experience

●      Strongexperience with React + TypeScript,especially for production-scale dashboards.

●      Solidbackend development experience using Node.js(TypeScript).

●      Hands-onexperience with AWS deployments andcloud-native architecture.

●      Familiarwith CI/CD pipelines, environments, and infrastructure as code (Terraformexperience is a plus).

●      Understandingof scalable architecture, performance optimisation and secure coding practices.

●      Ableto work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (PM, QA, DevOps, Data).

●      Comfortableworking in both new and legacy codebases, and learning fast.

●      Exhibitsstrong ownership, clarity in communication and good engineering hygiene.

Good-to-Have / Bonus

●      Experiencewith Ruby or Golang backend.

●      Knowledgeof Terraform or other IaC tooling.

●      Experiencewith large-scale monitoring, observability, or distributed systems.

●      Familiaritywith data streaming, analytics pipelines or Snowplow ecosystem.
