Manager, IT Database Services and Systems Support

Functional (job responsibilities)

• Manage Oracle OS and SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
• Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members
• Responsible for support applications and services used for the production, management and delivery of content and services online
• Provide the capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance of designated system identifying trends or problems. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Handling BAU operations and supporting deployments for Windows and Linux servers.
• Enhance the knowledge improvement plans. Prepare documentations and specifications
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Ensuring that process are dully followed (change, incident, problem management)
• Handling escalation on actions from users and collaborating with Production Engineers Level 2 (incident, request, change)
• Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Support Telephony System - IPC NICE Recording
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

• Excellent team player and project driver with HLBS and HLBB.

Education/Qualification

• University Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field

Experience/Requirements

• Possess at least 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server, Windows, Oracle Administration and Linux Administration
• Possess at least 5 years of application support experience
• Familiar with SFTP solutions - Crush FTP.Experience with Tectia Job schedulerMS SQL DBAOracle DBAMCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications is an added advantage
• Limited to Singaporeans/PR
