Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Research Fellow to conduct research on protective coating material that will elongate the life of concrete in Singapore outdoor environment. The successful candidate will innovate new coating material recipe, test their performance when applied on concrete, and study the mechanism of protection at microscale. Responsibilities include designing experimental and numerical studies, preparing report, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. 

Job Requirements

•    Applicants should hold a PhD in cement & concrete technology, civil engineering, materials science, or a related field.
•    Has prior strong expertise in high performance cement-based materials. 
•    Excellent written and communication skills.
•    Has strong publication records are highly desirable.
•    Open to fixed-term contract
