CAD Drafter

Job Description:

• Prepare shop drawings, RC shop drawing, construction plans, reinforcement layouts, excavation and steelwork detailing based on issued designs and instructions.

• Coordinate closely with design engineers and architects for accurate execution.

• Produce AutoCAD (2D) drawings.

• Manage drawing revisions, version control, and submission packages.

• Ensure drawings comply with Singapore standards and authorities’ requirements (e.g., BCA, LTA, PUB).

• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors for alignment on design and execution.

• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

• Min.. 5 years drafting experience, preferably within Singapore's construction or engineering consultancy firms
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools

• Proficient in AutoCAD (required) and MS Office

• Good knowledge of building codes, standards, and drafting conventions.

• Highly organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in creating and reviewing drawings.

• Good communication skills to liaise with engineers, architects, and clients.
