Senior Display Engineer (Korean Speaking)

OVERVIEW & IMPACT:
Samsung Display is a global leader in Display technology. The incumbent will be main contact window with our Key Account Customers for all technical matters. The incumbent Work will also work closely with customers and HQ team for problem solving, as well as to provide technical support to the customers during product development stage and analyze failure for design-in/sustaining product. To understand how to validate and analyze failure of monitor, laptop product and able to liaise with respective stakeholders

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To provide front-line support to customers
• Gathering technical requirements / spec from our customers.
• Explain and provide details of technical issues to HQ Application team.
• Regular visit to develop and enhance relationship with customer.
• Assisting customers during qualification and ensure timely development schedule until MP.
• Provide pre-sales support and technical presentations regarding product strategy and roadmaps, features, industry technology and competitive positioning.
• Collect customer feedback and provide input to Marketing for design requirements, product enhancements, new product opportunities relating to the xdevelopment.
• Provide demo & explanation on new products to customers.
• Perform or carry out test for display product qualification

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

• BS degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry.
• Field experience or hands-on practice or knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development (systems such as electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical and / or combination of these)
• Field experience as a FAE in the display panel industry will be an added advantage
• Understand Display related ecosystem in ASEAN and India region

• Business-level Korean language proficiency is required to liaise with key stakeholders in the Head Office in South Korea.
