Senior Data Engineer – Databricks

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience with the Databricks platform
• Proven track record of refactoring legacy code into modern frameworks
• Strong experience building and maintaining production data pipelines at scale
• Experience working with diverse data sources and formats (structured, semi-structured, unstructured)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or SQL
• Experience with Spark and distributed data processing frameworks
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices

Required Certifications

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification
