Network Engineer (Banking)

We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to support and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure within a banking environment. The role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with network configuration and maintenance to ensure secure and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a banking environment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve incidents within defined service levels.
• Assist in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Support network installations, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Monitor network performance and escalate issues when required.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and operational procedures.
• Work with internal teams to ensure network availability, reliability, and security.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of network support experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Familiarity with networking devices from vendors such as Cisco or Juniper Networks.
