We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FBA tocontribute to our strategic initiatives and drive key business outcomes withinthe Bank. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing complexprojects and working with high-performing teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organization's context
- Review and work with SA (System Analyst) on functional specifications and prepare flowchart
- Evaluate and analyse existing business processes and uncover areas for improvements
- Define detailed business processes, spanning both online and offline aspects
- Coordinate with various stakeholders in UOB to get detailed requirements and ensure that they are met through proposed solution
- Work with the design team for requirements that require User Interface Design
- Consult Solution Architect or System Analyst for technical requirements
- Collaborate with GIS to ensure nonfunctional requirements effectively incorporate security requirements
- Support the business pilot/live functionally
- Review with Test Manager/Testers test cases and ensure requirements/solutions are tested.
- Clarifications on defects raised during testing and ensure correct classification on defects
- Impact assessments on Change request or scope creep
- Functional Specification Documents Operational Impact Assessment
- Detailed Test Case Review
- Requirement Traceability and Change Management Document
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA orequivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the banking or financialservices industry, with at least 3-5 years as a functional business analyst orsystem analyst preferred
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and achievingstrategic business objectives.
* Strong understanding of financial products, services, and market dynamicswithin the banking sector.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with theability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, anddevelop effective solutions.
* Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirementswithin the financial industry.
* Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools, and the SDMprocess and testing tools
