Markit EDM – Lead Developer

We are looking for Lead developer with extensive hands- on experience in implementing and supporting Markit EDM platform with strong SQL Server and Power BI skills. This role involves designs, builds, and maintains data management solutions using Markit EDM (Enterprise Data Management) software, focusing on efficient data integration, quality, and distribution for financial institutions, involving SQL, workflow configuration, UI development, and collaboration with business/IT teams to ensure a "single version of truth" for market data.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data solutions using Markit EDM platform by creating and enhancing data workflows, components, and user interfaces.

• System and Data Integration support connecting various data sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues and support production environments.

• Work with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Implement best practices and Markit EDM standards for optimal performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• Significant 6+ Years of experience with Markit EDM (v 18.1 hands-on preferred) and data engineering.

• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and performance tuning.

• Experience working with Microsoft technologies (Azure, .NET, C#) and cloud platforms.

• Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

• Programming skills in T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers.

• Experience in Power BI and Familiarity with Bloomberg data.

• Data Integration using MQ, XML, ITX etc.

• Experience working with Windows/Unix environments.

• Knowledge and skills with Agile and DevOps practices.

• Excellent written and communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills include the ability to influence customers and co-workers.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and be comfortable with short deadlines.

• Experience with Capital Market – Asset Management and Investment banking platforms.

• Markit EDM Certification preferred.
