Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). SoC is strongly committed to research excellence in all its dimensions: Searching for fundamental results and insights in developing novel computational solutions to a wide range of applications, building largescale experimental systems, developing theories and policies for effective management of information systems in organizations, and improving the well-being of society. We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.

We are seeking highly motivated and creative postdoctoral candidates to join the Yang Zhang Lab in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore.

Applicants with a strong interest in artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning, protein/RNA folding and structure prediction, protein and peptide design, and/or protein-ligand docking and drug screening are encouraged to apply. We are particularly focused on developing novel AI-driven approaches for cancer therapeutics. Proficiency in computational programming and creativity in scientific methodology, along with a strong passion for computational cancer research, are essential for this role.

Qualifications

A PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise and research experience in AI and deep learning.
