We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and technical teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and availability
Perform data modelling to support reporting and analytical requirements
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
Implement data quality checks, validation, and governance standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks
Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Technical Skills (Preferred)

Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)
Exposure to data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git)
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
