Engineer (Protection Systems)

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Engineer to join our Advanced Material Solutions Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting critical projects related to protection systems, ensuring reliability performance across all stages of development.

Job Description:

- Assist in the design, optimization and development of protection systems to meet project requirements, security requirements, and industry standards

- Support the fabrication of fixtures, ensuring precision and functionality for protection system applications

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, design specifications, test reports, and process guidelines

- Prove engineering support for production and quality assurance to resolve technical challenges

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing system performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, operations and execution teams to drive project success

- Engage customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them to innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineeing/ Material Engineering/ Engineering Product Development/ Engineering Systems and Design and/ or related field of study

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) will be a added advantage

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Effective communication and coordination skills for cross-team collaboration

- Hands-on experience with prototype development and fabrication processes

- Willing to travel for field testing and supplier engagement
