Senior Service Engineer, 2-Stroke

We are looking for Service Engineers (2- Stroke) / Senior Service Engineer (2 Stroke) in Singapore. This is a permanent opportunity and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing:
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

· Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations

· Independently execute Field Service activities such as overhaul, repair and trouble shooting

· Identify failures, making adjustments, doing trial runs and testing of complete installations according to instructions

· Check and adjust relevant auxiliary systems

· Provide internal and external work reports according to Wartsila standards

· Collect and organise time and expense reports. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required

· Supervise the tasks performed by Wartsila employees and subcontractors

· Perform pre-commissioning and start-ups of Wartsila engines

· Promote Wartsila products and services.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

· Diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical engineering with 3 – 5 years working experience in related field OR

· BSC degree or equivalent with 2-3 years relevant working

· Knowledge of applicable engine types and their auxiliaries

· Basic knowledge of electronics

· Basic knowledge and experience with PC’s and software
