Air Gateway Director, Southeast Asia

Role Overview

The Air Gateway Director is responsible for leading and optimizing all air freight gateway operations across Southeast Asia. This role will oversee gateway performance, carrier relationships, and cross-border coordination to support the company’s regional and global logistics objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily air import, export, and transshipment operations across regional gateways
• Optimize network routing, capacity planning, and gateway performance
• Manage airline and ground handler relationships, including capacity and service levels
• Ensure compliance with air freight regulations, customs, and security standards
• Own operational performance, costs, and KPIs; drive continuous improvement
• Partner with commercial and country teams to support customer needs
• Lead and develop regional operations teams

Requirements:

> 10+ years in air freight or logistics, with regional leadership experience

>Strong knowledge of Southeast Asia air operations and regulations

>Proven ability to manage multi-country operations and teams

>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
