Middleware Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integration flows using IBM ACE v11/v12.

• Administer and troubleshoot IBM ACE environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise integration projects, including migration initiatives.

• Develop backend components using the Java Spring Framework to support integration requirements.

• Work with IBM MQ to manage messaging between enterprise applications.

• Interpret and implement solutions based on SWIFT messaging formats for financial integrations.

• Apply best practices in CI/CD, source control, and automation using tools like GitHub.

• Utilize Linux OS for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of integration environments.

• Provide production support and ensure rapid incident resolution.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture and code changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM ACE and Java Spring Framework.

• Proven experience with IBM ACE v11/v12, including configuration and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of IBM MQ and message-oriented middleware.

• Proficient in Linux OS with solid troubleshooting skills.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub.

• Working knowledge of SWIFT messaging formats is required.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented mindset.

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and financial services systems

• Prior involvement in IBM ACE upgrade or migration projects

• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
