This position is responsible for developing, advising, and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
General
- Acquire new clients on the basis of recommendations and maintain an active pipeline by cultivating contacts.
- Provide existing and prospective clients information on products and services offered by Bank of Singapore.
- Actively monitor the portfolios of existing clients and ensure they are offered the most appropriate investment advice, in line with their risk appetite.
- Engage investment and product advisors by tagging them to relevant client accounts so that they benefit from expert oversight.
- Monitor economic, political, and social developments in the local markets on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct business trips in the region, in accordance with BOS cross border guidelines, to maintain and develop client base.
Financials
- Responsible for achieving annual revenue targets and objectives
- Meet the behavioural and leadership KPI targets, inline with the agreed annual performance objectives.
- Trusted advisor who succeeds in maintaining a group of dedicated clients.
- Builds market share; able to enhance client asset size over time.
- Competent in advising clients on investment products and services.
- Actively involved in new business development; able to anticipate and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Keeps up to date with products and services; may give input for new product development.
- Monitors tasks for quality assurance to meet client servicing needs.
Compliance, Process, Risk Management
- Take accountability for individual actions and consequences in relation to compliance, processes, and risk management.
- Ensure adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines in day-to-day activities.
- Takes proactive steps to manage credit and reputational risks in the course of relationship management.
- Enhance the core skill set by attending relevant training sessions, whether mandatory or non-mandatory
- Ensure adherence to the various requirements which forms the Management Control Oversight Rating (MCOR) framework including but not limited to Audit Score, DCs, Reg Breaches, ORIs, ECM, Clean Desk and Endpoint.
- Adhere to various requirements which form the metrics for the Risk Moderator and MCOR framework
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
- Good university degree
- Preferably completed professional qualifications: CACS Papers I and II
- Driven and entrepreneurial
- Good business acumen
