As a Smart Manufacturing I4.0 Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will enable new frontier technology for Smart manufacturing especially in the area of Smart Die Matching, speed, quality and reliability predictions to define and drive end to end smart manufacturing solutions, coordinated across functions of the business. We will look into applying industry-leading methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to improve Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Partner with Assembly, Test, Probe, Product & Quality group to drive AI transformation in Smart Die matching as well as SMBP, Machine learning predictions enabling new insights and innovative solutions for Technology acceleration. Conceptualize, Prototype and productize innovative solutions using artificial intelligence, big data to improve/revolutionize Micron manufacturing performance such as Smart Die Matching, SMBP as well as other prediction projects
Participate/Lead End-to-End project teams comprising of Data Scientists, Industry 4.0 analysts, Solution Architects & Data Engineers.
Provide domain insights into available data, identify gaps in existing data set, collaborate with data scientists to apply various AI techniques in providing technical solutions.
Be the expert in Micron data sources, translate project requirements to specific available data sources, specify new requirements to Data Architects and Data Engr in Technical solutions team.
Work with solution end users to analyze related information to design & define requirements.
Provide expert functional and process mentorship on system interface and capabilities.
Develop business proposals, including impact validation approach, return on investment (RO) of potential solutions, propose & prioritize projects for implementation.
Requirement
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or other Engineering related field.
Passion in AI and Smart Manufacturing solutions.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, memory technologies (e.g., NAND/DRAM)
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional or technical teams, with accountability for delivery and outcomes.
Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Prior knowledge in data science is helpful but not a pre-requisite.
Results oriented, with a growth mindset and strong dedication to identify and implement improvement opportunities
Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships, influence and handle stakeholders.
Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
