As a Senior Engineer at Micron, you will have the outstanding opportunity to build the future of memory and storage solutions. Your role will involve:

  • Upgrading process capabilities and implementing strategies to reduce production costs.

  • Developing and modifying process management projects.

  • Setting up and maintaining process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment.

  • Evaluating, promoting, and planning the integration of new equipment and materials.

  • Conducting abnormal analysis and implementing improvements to maintain high standards.

  • Leading cross-functional teams to successfully improve yield or efficiency where required.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related fields.

  • At least 3 years of experience with CMP/WET processes.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in memory product development or manufacturing.

  • Proven automation skills through previous projects requiring coding, machine learning, or scripting.

  • A mentality centered on problem-solving with a passion for finding creative and effective solutions.

  • Strong interest in semiconductor frontend fabrication and the memory industry.

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

  • Strong personal initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Build of Experiment, and Engineering Statistical data analysis is essential.

    Maximizes yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Troubleshoots wafer fabrication problems and performs root cause analysis. Works with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Long-term investigation of defect issues may require extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas. Evaluates products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conducts research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommends process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.
