Employment Term: 2 years contract

Work location: Changi Airport

To manage incoming and outgoing material, deliveries, and coordinate logistics for Changi Skytrain CARP Project.

Material Controlling

· Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are accurate in quantity, type and in acceptable quality.

· Manage picking and packing process.

· Supervise staffs such us pickers, packers, forklift drivers

· Monitor stock levels and carry out periodic stock takes

· Maintain storage areas by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design

· Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas

· Handling and keeping tracks of all import/export documentations

· Planning, scheduling, and developing the most efficient transportation and logistics system

· Execute system transaction to ensure accuracy in system and physical inventory

· Liaise with all parties involved in the import and domestic movements of stocks, including transport companies and freight forwarders

· Complete paperwork for all deliveries

· Record all stock movement and deliveries in database and prepare regular reports

· Any other ad-hoc works assigned by project manager and construction manager

Coordination

· Interface with project team, construction team, safety team, client, vendors, contractor, and sub-contractors for material management matter

· Coordinate for audits and other regulatory requirement etc.

· Monthly Report preparation.

Requirements

· Diploma in any discipline. Candidates with supply chain & logistics background will have advantage.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant material controller experience for project site.

· AGT/LRT E&M project experience is added advantage.

· Ability to work as a team with motivation, technical knowledge required for material controlling

· Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals

· Strong commitment to the job

· Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment

· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff, and individuals both inside and outside the organization.

· Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Able to operate computer programs under Windows such as: MS Office.
