We are looking for a Research Fellow to work closely with NTU MSE and A*STAR researchers. The role will focus on improvement of resistance to hydrogen embrittlement (HE) for steels and nickel-based alloys.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the conduct of research project with research team members to ensure completion of deliverables
To help PI lead the HE research team
Improvement of resistance to hydrogen embrittlement
To configure the theoretical calculation before the experimental work
Develop the surface treatment methods to slow down the hydrogen intake
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on theoretical analysis and microstructure characterization
To help train PhD students
Assist in grant writing
Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers
Assist or Produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings
Job Requirements:
PhD qualification degree in Materials Science and Engineering or related field
Familiarity with computational materials science and macrostructure analysis
Good written and oral communication skills
