SAP FIORI / UI5 DEVELOPER - Contract

ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a skilled SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer with strong expertise in SAP Fiori, UI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to design and deliver advanced, user-centric applications. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building and enhancing Fiori/UI5 apps, integrating with OData services, and optimizing front-end performance within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and customize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications in line with modern UI/UX best practices.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

• Integrate UI5 applications with OData services and REST APIs within the S/4HANA landscape.

• Optimize front-end performance, ensuring responsive design and cross-browser/device compatibility.

• Enhance and extend standard Fiori applications as required by business needs.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong expertise in SAP UI5, Fiori Elements, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience integrating front-end applications with OData services.

• Solid knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration and MVC architecture.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE or VS Code.

• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.

 ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• Knowledge of ABAP, Core Data Services (CDS), and backend OData development.

• Exposure to RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).

• Experience with SAP Workflow / BTP Workflow Management.
