Frequently asked
Is the bonus taxed differently from monthly salary?
No — bonus is added to your annual chargeable income and taxed at the same progressive rates. But it's subject to CPF separately via the Additional Wage (AW) ceiling.
Why does my CPF seem capped?
Singapore caps CPF contributions at the Ordinary Wage ceiling ($8,000/month from Jan 2026). Anything above that is paid as cash, not into CPF.
Does this include SRS contributions?
No — SRS is voluntary and tax-deductible. Add its amount to 'Extra tax reliefs' if you contribute, to see the reduced tax.
