Job Responsibilities
- Engage with business users to comprehensively understand their processes, workflows, and provide insights to build and enhance a new system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and system specifications.
- Identify and analyze existing vs new system technical gaps, pain points and inefficiencies in existing processes that the new system should address.
- Work closely with software developers to ensure they understand business requirements and technical specifications.
- Provide continuous feedback and clarification to developers during the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design and development discussions to ensure the software meets business needs.
- Assist in the creation of user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for software development.
- Ensure that developed software aligns with the documented requirements and business goals.
- Identify potential risks and issues during the development process and work with the team to mitigate them.
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure software meets client requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for thorough validation of software functionality.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) to verify seamless integration with existing systems.
- Document and track defects, issues, and enhancements, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Ensure that testing activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner to meet project deadlines.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Diploma or Degree undergraduate
Experience
- 5 years of working experience
- Must be familiar with hospitality solutions and industry practices.
Other Prerequisites
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business users
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and provide actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in documenting business processes and requirements using standard methodologies.
